i thought it's just another teen movie (sorry for the pun) but i actually enjoyed it. it's basically about a fresh college graduate Matt Raymand (Milo Ventimiglia) narrating his point-of-view about life and what he expects after college. he had it planned that he will be the hottest Wall Street stockbroker right after he graduates but then his girlfriend leaves him, finds out he owed the school an astronomical amount due to his student loan and that the best job offer he has is a job for his uncle in Buffalo, NY which is far cry from what he has conjured I think we're all like that at one point or another, how sometimes you think you have everything planned out and then when you graduate you're faced with reality and realize that your dreams may just be that... dreams. don't fret, because this movie actually inspired me. his opinions and what he said during his monologues actually made sense. i could relate. (maybe because the work i have right now is not what i had in mind...hehe.) they're a group of friends who decided to head off to Aspen, CO to enjoy & relax for a year before they join the REAL world, in the process they get to learn valuable lessons, meet interesting people & even find love I do believe that the best lessons are learned outside the four walls of the classrooms sounds common but the actors justified the story. i don't really want to get into all the details but it's really funny and very real... like something that could happen to you but instead of Aspen, the setting is Boracay or something. if there's a movie i would suggest the graduates of 2004 watch (or to anyone who recently graduated), this would be it. i bet you'll learn a thing or two from this. your future may seem hazy or you may have it planned until the last detail but as one of the characters said in the movie, all you need to do to find contentment & happiness is to "follow your heart"...
